Exclude Unapproved Users

    Probably depends on how they are “approved”. I don’t know exactly what you referring to, but perhaps you can just assume the basic/default role? Just about anything that you can do with WP_User_Query is supported by SUL shortcode arguments. And anything that isn’t supported, can probably be achieved by writing a custom filter for pre_get_users.
