Exclude Thumbnail image from lightbox

I am also looking for a solution for this assuming you mean Featured Image.

I have the very same question: Is there any way to exclude the single thumbnail image (or featured image, if selected) from the lightbox gallery images?
For the native wordpress gallery you have the shortcode option to include/exclude individual images include or exclude images
Is there something similar available for the foogallery?
Or is there any way to target specific images within the foogallery not being displayed? Perhaps via nth-child selector?
I also looked at the shortcode attributes here:
fooplugin shortcode attributes
The problem is these attributes effects both the single-thumbnail and gallery images.

It seems I overlooked one of the resolved topics which actually handles the same issue: single thumbnail featured image don’t repeat in slideshow So Saliks, it seems your (and my) topic is resolved now.
To repeat:
1) choose your featured image. (featured image is not included in the gallery)
2) link to custom URL: link to the first full-size image of your gallery (right-click on full-size image to obtain image URL)
3) Under Gallery Settings > General, don’t forget to enable ‘Link to Custom URL ( I overlooked that setting)
