    Hi Tom,

I have the following requirement for the website I’m currently working on:
The latest post has to be displayed on the main page. A list of posts has to be displayed in the left sidebar, except the latest post when we are on the main page.

Can I do this somehow with the WP Show Posts plugin?

Try setting the offset to 1 in the More settings section.

That should exclude the most recent post from that list.

    Yes, it does.
Thank you, now I know what is that offset field for.

But in this case the most recent post always will be excluded, not only when the user visit the main page.

Now I think, it’s a quite odd request and I have the feeling I should convince the others to cancel it.

It should only be excluded from the list you have it set in. Is that not the case?

Yes it is. It works as designed and it’s OK now for our website.

    Thanks for the support!
I really like working with your theme and plugin!
