    Hello,

first of all, thank you for this amazing plugin!

I am trying to create pages where to show different taxonomies or categories. I have tried different version of the shortcode, ex:

    [rcno-sortable-grid exclude=”taxonomy-i-want-to-exlude”]

    [rcno-sortable-grid exclude=”category-i-want-to-exlude”]

    [rcno-sortable-grid tax=”taxonomy-i-want-to-see”]

    [rcno-sortable-grid taxonomy=”taxonomy-i-want-to-see”]

but I always see all the reviews, no matter the taxonomy/category.

Is there a way to modify the grid showing only the taxonomies I want to see?

Thank you very much in advance

    Hello @carlarancio

The correct shortcode would be the first one, [rcno-sortable-grid exclude="taxonomy-i-want-to-exlude"]. However, I should note that it would only remove the filter dropdown for the “taxonomy-i-want-to-exlude” genre.

The closest to what you have in mind is the shortcode [rcno-reviews-grid taxonomy="genre" terms="Fantasy,Horror"].

    Hello @w33zy

Thank you for your answer. So is there no way to combine the list of items of 1 taxonomy + the filters?

The second shortcode is not working, I put in “terms” the subtaxonomy.

I guess I could use this one [rcno-reviews-index tax=’taxonomy-i-want-to-see’], but it makes me see all the reviews, no matter the taxonomy.

I also tried this one: [rcno-tax-list tax=”rcno_fake news”], but WordPress gives always an error.

    Thank you very much!

    Hello again,

I kinda don’t understand this part “I put in “terms” the subtaxonomy”… what do you mean by “subtaxonomy”? What is the full shortcode you’re using here?

You’re correct [rcno-reviews-index tax='taxonomy-i-want-to-see'] would list all the reviews, that’s how is was designed.

Due to the way how shortcodes work, you can’t mix and match shortcode attributes or make up new ones. They will only work as defined by the developer, so [rcno-tax-list tax=”rcno_fake news”] wouldn’t work.

Hello! I meant that the second shortcode you gave me:

    [rcno-reviews-grid taxonomy=”genre” terms=”Fantasy,Horror”]

does not work on my website, I don’t see anything. I wrote like this: [rcno-reviews-grid taxonomy=”taxonomy-i-want-to-see” terms=”the-elements-of-that-taxonomy”]

    Thank you!

hi… did you find the solution for your problem.. I need to list just one taxonomy too and I can’t find how

    Hello,

If think this sample could help you :

    Syntax :
    [rcno-reviews-grid taxonomy=”category” terms=”Cinema”]

Unable to find official documentation about the syntax to use. It’s clearly a lack of documentation.

    Regards
