    Hi,

The “Revenue” value includes tax/vat by default:

    05.08.2018-15.28.14

In Adwords & GA I strongly prefer my financial reports to exclude tax. Is it possible to set “Revenue” without tax? For example with a custom function?

    Hi Erik,

Based on the definition of GA, revenue should include taxes as well.
But I understand that this might be an important enhancement for some or many plugin users. I’ve created a ticket for that so that this option can be included in the next plugin version:

    Hi @duracelltomi,

You are correct. Why has Google come up with that? ??

Its great to hear you want to include this as an option. I notices shipping costs are also includes in Revenue. You also might want to exclude this one as well?

    Thanks again!

Sure, the option will deduct both values as I do not see any benefit of having a revenue without taxes but with shipping costs

    Hi,

This option has been added into the dev version of the plugin:
    https://github.com/duracelltomi/gtm4wp/issues/62

v1.9 will include it once released

    Thanks @duracelltomi

It’s a great new feature but after thinking about it some more I would be cautious to enable it. As you stated before, Google is very clear that it wants all costs and tax included with the Revenue. Beats me however…

    Thanks again.

Generally, by definition, it should include taxes.

BUT for example if you change WooCommerce settings so that prices do no include tax, the order revenue will not include any tax either. So this can be changed with the latest stable plugin version but not with a plugin option.

Also: with some custom JS code within GTM, it is possible to deduct taxes from revenue but this assumes some coding skills.

Anyway, this new option will not be enabled by default thus it will not hurt if no one will use it ??

True, I haven’t thought about that. It’s a good thing you include this new function ??
