Exclude tags from listing?

    Hi,

    Thanks again for this brill plugin ??

    I was wondering if it were possible to show a list of publications from an author that excluded entries from a certain (or multiple) tag?

    Hi,

    Yes, it’s possible. Examples:

    
// If you want to show publications of an author
[tpcloud author="1" exclude_tags="15,18"]
// If you want to show publications of a WordPress user
[tpcloud user="1" exclude_tags="15,18"]

    Hiya!

    Thanks, I managed to get this working however it doesn’t seem to work with [tplist].. Is there something I can do to get this working?

    Here is the shortcode as I am trying it:

    [tplist author=”15″ exclude_tags=”15,28,37,52,60,67,73,80,74,88″ style=”simple” link_style=”direct” headline=“0″]

    It works if I change [tplist to [tpcloud].

    Hi Rob,

    Sorry for the late answer. The “exclude_tags” option is currently not available for the [tplist] shortcode. This will be fixed with the upcoming new major version of the plugin (teachPress 6.0).

    For finalizing this topic: “exclude_tags” is now available for [tplist] with teachPress 6.0 or higher.
