exclude sub-nav from specific pages

    Something like this should work in functions.php:

    if( is_page( 'about' ) )
add_filter( 'has_nav_menu', 'ea_remove_submenu', 99, 2 );

function ea_remove_submenu( $has_menu, $location ) {
	if( 'secondary' == $location )
		$has_menu = false;
	return $has_menu;
}
