Exclude specific posts or categories from email subscriptions

    The blog post you are referencing is from 2016 and the ways Jetpack and WordPress work has changed since that time. This has impacted the individual post toggle and that functionality no longer works. We have an open issue for it here:

    Additionally, I tested the code under “Disable Subscriptions if it belongs to a specific category” and that one worked for me.

    I would suggest trying to see if you can add just that code.

    Please note that we’re unable to assist with custom code snippets and there may be something in your theme and/or another plugin that is conflicting.

    I’ve tested the snippet under ‘Disable Subscriptions if it belongs to a specific category’ and it seems to work. I’ll use it for the time being. Thanks.
