I see that I can exclude specific pages from my sitemap but how can I exclude an entire custom post type?

There are special custom post types in the theme I am using to accommodate some of the theme functions but these custom post types are not meant to be seen by users. With your plugin, it is listing the names of all of the custom post types in my theme and there aren’t even any pages listed in the sitemap under these additional custom post types.

So, if not already possible, please add a way to exclude custom post types and you may also want to add a check that if there aren’t any posts to display for a custom post type, you should not display the custom post type heading.

I quite agree. Would love to know how to exclude my FAQs and Slides as it looks a bit strange how it is now

    Great plugin by the way!

    Hello.
Thank you for your message. It’s quite true. Many people ask me to add the Custom Post Type but I never though that would be unecessary for some reasons. You just made your point. I will try to add a features to select the CPT you want to display or not.
    Thanks again.

    Sincerely,
    Tony

    Hi add.redford,
I just release a new version of the plugin with your suggested feature. Feel free to upgrade to 1.0.8. To exclude a CPT you just have to select the Custom Post Type you want to exclude of the sitemap.

    Hope that help.
    Sincerely,
    Tony

    Tre bien!

Yeah that helps a lot, Certainly makes managing the sitemap much easier. I must say what a polite and conscientious person you are. Thanks for all your hard work!
