Exclude some images from optimization and resizing

    Hi! Excellent plugin!
    I have a few full screen background images that I want to be excluded from Smush optimization and resizing. Which is the better way to achieve this?

    Hello @damen02,

    I am afraid that would not be directly possible as of now. But you can navigate to Smush-> Bulk Smush-> Automatic compression and turn that off and then upload the images.

    The uploaded images would be uncompressed once. You can turn the Automatic compression back on once you upload the images which you want it to be uncompressed.

    A similar issue here.

    I tried putting my ‘Elementor popup templates’ under exceptions from settings: https://imgur.com/a/rXmu8Zc

    However, these exception settings don’t seem to work for me, and the images in my popups don’t appear because of lazy load: https://i.imgur.com/WwXzlqj.jpg

    Can you please check my issue with the lazy loading of images in Elementor popups as well?

    Well, both options are interesting.
    I have a third one.
    My workaround was uploading my images via FTP and replacing de compressed ones. It worked.
    The only inconvenient is remember to redo it in further optimizations.
