    Hello everyone,

Because this is my first post ever here I must make a statement about wordpress. I am pretty new to the wordpress but using it from the version 2.9.1 as well as to PHP (I know the very basics). All I can say, wordpress? I love it ?? I have tried many other major cms and turned to the wordpress at the end due to his true beauty…

Well, I have a little problem, I would like to exclude post title content from the search. In other words, if someone search for something I would just exclude what ever is in title…so the search is looking only into the content of the posts.

Please, if anyone could help, at least to tell me where the files related to the search are located.

    Regards,

    Spencer,

Thank you for your reply and the plugin suggestion that I installed and tried…

Basically, I have excluded all modules except the “Post/page content” since I need only to search in content, but that does not exclude page title from the search.

There is a note on modules page saying “Note that enabling or disabling a module will require you to re-index the search database”. but then again on the Search index page another one saying “You currently have the Default WordPress search engine enabled – there is no need to index anything.”.

Well, I switched to “WordPress Indexed” and it works, page titles are excluded…. however I am not sure about the difference between the two “Default WordPress” and “WordPress Indexed” search engine.

    Anyone?

    Thank you!
