Exclude Paypal Referrer Traffic

Are you able to exclude this traffic with the exclusions parameters available from the menu Matomo Analytics > Settings > Exclusions?

Hi Mat,

Unfortunally I have no idea how to work with exclusions parameters to exclude traffic from referrer websites. But I think there must be a lot of woocommerce shops which are using Matomo and a Paypal Payment Gateway. I can′t believe that there is no option to exclude that referrer traffic.

You can exclude it with the exclusions parameters. I don’t have an example of query string coming from paypal so I cannot help you more, but you should have in the query string some parameters which could help you to exclude these queries.

OMG. Is there really no one who has solved that problem yet? I have no idea what I have to fill in as the exclusion parameter.
