    Hi,

I wonder if it is possible to exclude a page from the cookie restriction?
The user experience suffers extremely with the videos loading again after accepting the cookies.

Would be happy to get some help here!

    Best regards,
    Raphael

    Hi @idonyclothing,

It looks like the cookie blocker is not working as expected on your site. What you should see is a placeholder, which changes into the video after accepting, like here:
    https://demo.complianz.io/placeholders/youtube/

A quickfix is to disable the YouTube integration in complianz/integrations/services

Some things I’d like to check:

    – Did you disable placeholder functionality in complianz/settings?
    – What happens if you add just one video on a page?
    – I see some minification active. Can you try to disable this to see if that changes anything?

    Hi,

    Thanks for the fast response!
Yeah, we had that. I then disabled this function but before I posted this question I undid this. Most probably a caching thing.

    – I excluded all .js files in the complianz folder. (/wp-content/plugins/complianz-gdpr/(.*).js)
But the way it loads the videos after accepting the cookies will chase off users. Also the placeholder images now have a different format than the video itself. I think I will just disable the integration for now.

Thanks for the quick fix and your great help!

    Best regards,
    Raphael
