Exclude not allowing front page to display

    Using theme Twenty Eleven and have set about page as (static) front-page. Tried about in exclude list, but that doesn’t work.

    You can not exclude the core url, only extensions on domain.
    But maybe you can use the url of the page, there you use for your static front page, like domain.com/static_page/
