Exclude multi-day events that are running from events list

    Hi there, I am using Beaver Builder to list events from the events calendar. Works great. I am ordering by _EventStartDate and that also works fine.
    Problem is, that on this special site, there are many events that go on for a long time. Some even for months. That way the list looks dated because it seems, that even currently running events are still listed. Settings are set to “future events” but it seems that current events are also part of that group.
    Is there any way I can exclude events that have already started from the list of “future events! ?

    I hope I was able to make myself clear. You can see in the Link I provided, that there are events from October 2021 still among the first in the event list (Its in the light beige row “Termine vom Standort Koblenz”.)

    I think I might have to modify the query? Didn’t find anything in the settings.

    Hi Abz,
    very sorry, but I didn’t get info about your reply. So I would love to open this up again! Yes, I am using BB posts widget, which has support for Events Calendar. Problem is, that there are very long events that sometimes last a few months even. And in the list, which is set to “future events”, they still show, even if they are already running. Which makes the list seem outdated.

    So what I would love to do, is exclude the events that are already running from that list. It seems that out of the box, “future events” looks for the end date, rather than the start date.

    Is there maybe a code snippet or something to change this behavior?
