Exclude meta tags like author

Its a great plugin, but due to SEO reasons it would be great to exclude e.g. the author tags.

If you test the site, the plugin shows an author for every article tisted. That means for the main article that Goolge finds more than one author which is not really nice.

Any ideas on that issue?
