I see the problem. Well, so far we have no exclusions to the included directories. The solution you gave is simple and functional.

But the real problem is why the image got pixelated. This I should definately fix. Could you send me the image so I could test it?

Can you provide an e-mail address? I’ll send it via dropbox, ok?
    Here is the siteaddress

I would gladly give you my email address, but I am not sure this goes by the rules of the forum here. Could you point me to the image instead?

    Hi Nevma
I didn’t know, that this was against the rules. Sorry.
    This is the link

(I am not sure it is against the rules either!)

I did test the image, but I do not see it being pixelated. Here is my test: https://clients.nevma.gr/vanilla/%CF%80%CF%81%CE%BF%CF%86%CE%AF%CE%BB/ (don’t mind the greek text).

Is there some other way we can reproduce the problem perhaps?

Btw, your host does not allow image hot-linking, so I had to work around it to download the image. No problem there, just saying! ??

    Hi Nevma
Your example does not work like my header. My header has always the same height. I guess the plugin generates adaptive images regardless whether it is referenced by an img tag or css.
If you want, i can reference the old location.
Make a test with google mobile emulation and you can observe the pixelated effect.
my best wishes to you and greece

Hello there, thanks for your wishes, we wish you the best, too!

I believe I know what is happening with that image…

First of all, yes, the plugin resizes all images unconditionally, regardless whether they are referenced straight from an IMG tag or a CSS background declaration. It seems that the height you set the image in your header is too big for its resized version, so the mobile browser actually enhances it, which results in pixelation.

I think I reproduced the same effect, by making the image have an explicit height of i.e. 300px in https://clients.nevma.gr/vanilla/%CF%80%CF%81%CE%BF%CF%86%CE%AF%CE%BB/. When I see it from a mobile device it gets pixelated. But that is… hmmm… kind of an expected behaviour. Because in the mobile environment the image is supposed to be smaller, yet I/we have coerced it to have the same height as in the desktop environment.

    I am not sure I can have a solution for this… ??

Does this make sense to you?

    Hi Nevma
Yes, this makes sense. But the work around is, as i said, simple.
I was just unsure whether there was a better solution.
For now, i leave it as is. Your plugin works great.
    Thanks for your care.
