    Hi

I’ve installed your plugin on a WooCommerce site that was migrated over from an old Prestashop site. Its been an absolutely godsend in helping set up the numerous redirects needed!

I have 404 logs enabled, and am getting around 1000 errors each day – over 90% of which are images. This makes it really time-consuming to go through and locate the 404 errors that actually need redirecting.

Is there any way to exclude images from the 404 logs?

    Thanks for your help!

Do these images not need fixing?

You can search for images and then delete them all.

You can create a ‘do nothing’ action for the images to ignore them.

Hi John – thanks for the reply.

The 404s are all for images on the old Prestashop site, so no, they don’t need fixing.

Following your advice, I ended up searching for “.jpg”, “.gif” and “.png” and deleting them all. While its better than having to sift through all the images in the logs, it would be nice to have the ability to exclude certain file types from being logged at all.

If they don’t need fixing then it would be better to create a 410 for them – they are still being requested.
