• I saw in the changelog that with the “link exclusion option” it should be possible to exclude the home page from caching. I do not know how to do this, though, because you cannot use absolute urls.

I need to be able to do this because I display some information such as post count and so on. Only on the front page (blog roll).

  • Hi – this is also very urgent for us. We need to exclude the landing page from caching. We tried the “exactly match” option on the following string “www.b83.at” but it does not work.

No, please [!] how can we exclude the basic homepage / landingpage from caching since its not defined as some sort of subdirectory?

    Wordfence displays:
    Cache Exclusions
If the URL equals (without quotes): “www.b83.at” then don’t cache it.

    Example: https://www.b83.at

    Thank you for your help!

    Try this…

If a URL exactly matches this pattern then don’t cache it: and add a /. That should remove the home page from caching. Remember to hit the add exclusion button after creating the rule to save it.
