  • Currently there is not though we have an internal ticket for adding this. Keep watching and we may add it. While I cannot promise that every suggestion we get makes it into a release, or when that might be I can tell you that every suggestion we get is evaluated carefully and considered seriously. We value the input we get from our customers. A member of our dev team may or may not reach out to you here to ask for more detail. Thank you for helping to make WF great.

^^Bump – Same issue with a client that has 70,000 images in a directory that we want to exclude from the scan.

Please let me know if this becomes available or if there is a work around for this.

@mvincik Did you try adding that path to the options to “Exclude files from scan that match these wildcard patterns“?

I have successfully added paths like wp-content/cache/* or for backupbuddy backup zip files.

After posting I went back in on that particular clients install and added the path exactly where you mentioned and it worked perfectly.

Thank you for your help! I’m sure others will stumble upon this post in the future and have their answer.

    Take care,

    Matt

I bet the scans complete much faster now too. ??

    Glad we could help.
