Exclude folder from Minify?

I am getting constant errors with minify because my wordpress theme caches some files itself. I’ve tried turning off the themes caching but it makes the site far too slow. This is the error Im getting
Recently an error occurred while creating the CSS / JS minify cache: File “/home/xx/wp-content/uploads/headway/cache/block-dynamic-js-layout-single-a5bb8d5.js doesn’t exist.
The problem is these cache files change name all the time, so adding them to the exclude list only works for like a day. I need to exclude the whole cache folder from Minify, but I cant get it to work.
I have tried adding the following to the ‘never minify’ box but it doesnt work
/home/xx/wp-content/uploads/headway/*
Is there any way to get this working?
