You have on the Google News settings, “Exclude“, where I can exclude what pages I don t want to be part of the Google News sitemap.

But there is a way to exclude let’s say all the posts that are part of a certain category? I ask that because on a website are not present only news, but also evergreen content that is not news, so it place shouldn’t be in the Google News sitemap.

Consistently submitting non-news content in a Google News sitemap could be seen as a violation of Google’s guidelines. This could potentially lead to a lower trust score for your site or even removal from the Google News index if abused.”
