Hello, I really like your plugin.

I use the link of the plugin that I implement in a “random” button. But many times it shows the same post, so is there anyway I can exclude the current post when someone pushes the random button?

    Please let me know.
    Thanks.

Unfortunately not at this time. If you have a larger number of items in the “pool”, of course, it will be less likely that you end up on the same one.

    Thanks for the quick reply.

Is there a way to achieve that with custom code though?

Everything is possible with code! ??

Unfortunately, the way I am seeing it this would not be trivial. You would need to find the post id from the referrer link in to the random URL, then get the pool of possible ids and exclude this one.

If you do manage it, please consider contributing back the code to make the plugin more useful to everyone. I just don’t have time at the moment to take on these kinds of “special projects”.

    Good luck!

I wish I knew how to do that.
It will be a great new feature if you could implement it in the future.
    Some day maybe… ??

someday/maybe is my favourite list ??

It’s ok, it’s a great and easy plugin anyway.
But that feature would skyrocket it ??
