Your plugin works great and I love it.

Is it possible to any post in certain category excluded from cache? One option I see is URI. But I’m not sure how it is work.

Prevent the following URIs to be cached

The thing is this one category (https://amhmagz.com/category/fun/artbook/) at some post have password protected content using plugin called Passster. As you can see my permalink post is /year/date/title.

I know this is not your fault. I’ve been try disable page cache from you plugin it still not work. Then I disable cache all page rules (no 3 in picture below) in Cloudflare, the Passster plugin is working again.

Currently I set page rules on.

Or should I talk this to Passster developer?

The password for url that “I need help” is saturnv. It is not sensitive password because my content there just like quiz for those who can answer could see it.

    Hi @omega8719,
Sorry but I do not understand your question clearly but in the Prevent the following URIs to be cached you can use a path not to be cached. You can also use * in your path expression as well.

Well after talking with Passster developer it is more to their problem. Plugin utilize ajax to mitigate cache problem. They also have option to disable ajax (compatibility mode) and use conventional reload which is I use but not working when cache all enabled at Cloudflare page rules.

They still working better solution for ajax so yes technically this is not your plugin problem.

    Hi @omega8719,
You can use the Ajax mode in the plugin as our plugin does not cache ajax request and there is an option for that as well inside the plugin.
Thank you for your reply and confirmation.

No you misunderstand. Their ajax (Passster) is work half right. It is already not working properly even before I use WP Cloudflare Super Page Cache. They explain roughly, adding ajax load some while ago because cache issue in conventional reload page. But their ajax is not trouble free either. Short story when I enable Passster ajax mode, it would not load content from shortcode.

THIS IS SUPER IMPORTANT!! I think.

In the last 5 days I’m trying to figure out why “Prevent the following URIs to be cached” seems not working. After searching previous thread related with page rules, I just realized your plugin create your own page rules that is cache everything.

This is great for new user who didn’t understand Cloudflare page rule capability. But this is different case for me.

I use page rules, all three slot since a year ago. While technically it still work great after I activated your plugin, I’m running into problem to certain post that should not be cached which is “Prevent the following URIs to be cached” handy.

Now it worked as intended after I delete my own page rules, reset then enabled again the plugin.

    Summary:
You should add explain properly to people make sure the page rule tab in Cloudflare is empty. Because plugin going to write and handle the rest.

    Thank you.

    Hi @omega8719,
When using this plugin you don’t need to add any page rules in the cloudflare page rules section. In the page rule section there will be only one page rule that is the cache everything one. Inside the plugin setting however there is section to exclude pages from being cached by entering the path of the page. You don’t need to add the cache exclusion in the cloudflare, you need to add that inside the plugin settings. Check the cache tab of the plugin settings.
