    We are trying to use Connections on a site with the Slim-Plus plug-in. We are using the newest versions, but the “exclude_category” option is still not working. I thought this was repaired by the most recent release.

    We want to use the directory in two different places, excluding certain categories from each, i.e. we want one page to only display “board of directors,” another to display “faculty and staff,” etc.

    Yes, the exclude_category shortcode option was completed in July’s update, I believe.

    What is the exact shortcode your are using? And, can you please share the links to your directories?

    Hi, yes, of course.

    It has this code:
    [connections template=”slim-plus” exclude_category=”6″]

    It should exclude “Holly” and “Julie” but is not.

    Ok, I’ll see if I can replicate it with the Slim Plus template. Maybe I overlooked something.

    Ok, I found the bug and it was a stupid one at that! I have it fix for the next update.
