exclude categories from search results not working

    thanks a lot for this great plugin

    it helps me a lot

    although, there’s a small problem which i face ;

    i have two main categories in my site

    and i want to exclude posts of one of them from search results

    i tried the settings : https://i.imgur.com/dxUimYJ.png
    and dropped the categories i want to exclude, but it doesn’t work !

    any help plz ?

    Hi!

    Make sure to clear your front-end cache, as it affects this option.

    I have tried to replicate the issue, but it’s working for me as expected, so I’m not sure what is wrong yet.
    In case clearing the cache doesn’t help, then please go to the Help & Support submenu under the Ajax Search Lite menu, and there will be a debug information dialog. Please copy it to https://paste.ee and share the URL here, and I will look into it. Thank you!

    Hi!

    Unfortunately this looks all right to me. I see 15 excluded categories with the IDs of 846,990,1714,1713,1712,849,842,1216,843,1217,1214,1220,961 and 841. The query executed also looks correct, so the exclusion is in effect.

    Are you sure that the results displayed belong to any of the excluded categories? If a results does not belong to any category, it will still be displayed.

    and sorry for my delay i was very busy with some life issues

    yes, unfortunately the issue is still exist

    and still search results from excluded categories appear ! ??
