Exclude categories from home page

Hi and thanks for your beautiful plugin!

Is there a way to exclude posts from a specific category in the amp homepage loop?
Or better, is there a code i can put in the function.php to prevent the amp trasformation of all posts in that category?
Putting the category slug in the avanced setting i don’t think can solve the problem. Doesn’t it?
