I saw that you guys have implemented all logged-in users will be excluded from Analytics tracking, which is great but whats about WooCom? As of my understanding it will also exclude tracking all my customers as well who will login into there account?

Hi @dzire2dzine thanks or getting in touch with your question. The exclude Analytics for all logged-in users feature excludes Analytics tracking to your website when any WordPress user is logged into the site viewing any web pages.

This should not affect any WooCommerce specific users. I hope this has helped to answer your question but please let me know if there’s anything else I can help with.

Yes but I also noticed it doesn’t track conversations which I think is imp. these days.

@dzire2dzine ?Event Conversions and Tracking is something that we are currently working on. I can’t give you a timeline at this moment, but we’re exploring this and planning to add conversion tracking to the plugin in the future.

Is there anything else I can help you with at this time?

Conversion tracking was working for me using Sitekit before the new GA4 property (and apparently still is in the UA property). Is this related to this discussion and GA4 will sometime in the future start picking up my woo checkout conversions as the UA one does?

@shawnkeenegmailcom Site Kit only inserts a standard Google Analytics tag on a users site (without conversation tracking). If you’re finding something isn’t working as it should with your newly inserted Google Analytics 4 (GA4) property you can reach out in the Analytics Help Center for assistance. If you didn’t set up conversion tracking yet for your GA4 property you can also review this guide on the plugin website.

Note also that some events are automatically tracked with GA4, although non of these are specific to WooCommerce.

Is this related to this discussion and GA4 will sometime in the future start picking up my woo checkout conversions as the UA one does?

I’m not sure how you may have set up Universal Analytics (UA) event tracking previously but Site Kit doesn’t have any WooCommerce specific event tracking. There is an open GitHub issue in relation to eCommerce data, which includes WooCommerce which you can subscribe to, or chime in with your own thoughts:

Hopefully the above is of use. Best of luck!
