Hi, I can see in the plugin settings I can select pages to exclude from the search results. I just wondered is there an easy way to exclude ALL pages by default? thanks, hope you can help! ??

  • I’m going to save a ton using searchandise, I hope they can help with this ?? I need to only show Products in search ?? I can’t manually exclude pages, I do too much stuff I’ll end up making a testing page for something and have it show up in search.

Searchandise you are beating the competition like crazy.. your product is unreal… please help us with excluding pages and or forcing “products only”

    Thank you!

Hi, thank you for such kind words about our product, we do appreciate it. Unfortunately, there is no such functionality as bulk disabling pages from search. I’m sorry. It’s possible to change the status of pages only one by one.
If bulk editing is added in the future, we’ll let you know about it in our plugin updates.

Hello, thank you for your reply. I want to clarify that my goal was to “completely” remove all pages from search.

I was able to do this after receiving an email from you. The option was buried.

    The instructions is:
Please go to the Instant search widget and choose 0 from the Categories qty. and Pages qty. drop-down lists. Then please go to the Search results widget > Content and choose 0 from the Categories per page and Pages per page drop-down lists. Don’t forget to apply changes.

I would kindly suggest that you make the post type selection for what will show in the search, to be more visible to the site owner.

It should be one of the first things a site owner will choose, because for shops, i can’t imagine any shop owner wanting to show Pages/Posts in their search box, instead they want to show just products.

Thank you so much for your feedback. I’ve forwarded your request to my colleagues so that they consider making the settings you’ve mentioned above more obvious.
