• Hi everyone, I’m setting up a woocommerce store with products in ARS for Argentina and in USD for the rest of the world. Prices are configured in USD natively. I’ve installed “Woocommerce multi currency” plugin.
It works fine but it pulls the exchange rate (today 10/19/2018) from Google or Yahoo Finance at 36.59 and the dollar is 37.50 in my country, one peso and a bit more. I’m loosing money.
This plugin has an input called “exchange fee” to sum up to the “exchange rate” input that automatically pulls from google/yahoo finance. The problem is that you have to write the “exchange fee” manually. I can’t be constantly writing this, it’s inefficient. Does anyone knows how to fix it or a better solutions?
Is there a chance to let you pull the exchange rate from the page I want, a bank in my country for example?

  • Hello,

With the free version, the exchange rate will updated once a day. So it can be a bit different from live rate.
You can get exchange rate from the page you want. But please consider to upgrade to the premium version and pay a custom work fee. We will help you then.

P/s, the website you want to get exchange rate from need to provide a valid API.

I want to get exchange rate from this page:

    https://www.bcra.gob.ar/publicacionesestadisticas/tipo_de_cambio_minorista.asp

When you enter you have to select “Moneda = DOLAR” and “Fecha = the present day”, for ex today 29/10/2018. And then it shows a table with all Argentina banks with their respective exchange rate. I want to take BANCO SANTANDER RIO S.A. exchange rate for ex.
Can I do this with premium version or I have to pay an extra for customization?
    how much?
