Excessive vertical offset of superscript

  • I’m having a problem where the superscript counter is too high. It goes up enough that it looks odd and changes the linespacing if there’s a line of text above.

    I’ve had this issue on just every site where I’ve used this plugin. I cannot for the life of me figure out a) why it’s happening or b) what to do about it.

    Any ideas?

    If it’s relevant, I’m using Elementor and the Layers for Elementor theme.

    Hi David,

    The plugin doesn’t apply any styles to this – it’s just using the <sup> HTML tag.

    Your best bet is to use CSS to modify this – it has a class of footnote_plugin_tooltip_text.
