Excessive top padding, overflow and bleeding out of container

I am using a single row with a single text widget to host the Google Drive Gallery Plugin. I have not been able to make this plugin appear properly on a page without serious work to the margins and padding, and then only when the gallery is the only widget on the page (it starts overlapping other elements, even the footer). Is there a more graceful way to make this widget stay in its container and keep alignment with the other rows?
