When I create a course, or even look at the pages (front end or back end) I get over 100s of emails sent.

    How do I stop that?

    2. Would this happen to members who subscribe to the courses?

    Hi,

The LMS platform includes static email templates. However, it shouldn’t send 100s of emails in general. The subscribers will get emails only for the successful welcome registration and when they are enrolling course.

If I as the admin have been receiving 100-200 emails each time I add coursework to my site, is there a way to fix that glitch?

Can I be sure subscribers are not getting multiple copies of the same email (like I am as an admin)?

    Thanks

As we have pointed previously, the LMS platform doesn’t reproduce 100-200 emails in general. We have checked on our testing environment. You can check the emails for subscribers by creating a new user from your end as well

    Hello

What I am saying is as a back end admin, I currently did receive 200 emails when I tried to create one course with about 5 modules in it.

I am aware that this isn’t typical. I am asking who should I go to so it can be fixed and resolved?

Or should I try the LMS platform again by adding more modules to see if its still happening?

    Please confirm
    Thanks

So today I accessed the course I created and just viewed the course and I got 16 emails within seconds. This does not seem normal. Any way to fix it.

    Hello @tamilforkids

    Thank you for reaching out!

When the Site administrator creates the course or adds modules he/she will not receive an email by default.

We are tried to reproduce your problem on our side and created several courses on Backend with an administrator account (Screenshot). During the investigations, we have not received an email as we expected. Then enrolled in the course on front and received, default notifications about it (Screenshot).

Can you clarify the content of the emails which you are receiving? It will be better if you could provide screenshots as well. Because your problem is unique and not observed on our test servers and our other customers have not experienced this problem either.

    Kind regards

    Hello

    Thank you for your response.

Attached is the pdf file with all screenshots. You would find screenshots of the emails that I did receive and their content. As well as how many of them did come

I do hope you can help me resolve this.

    Thanks

    Hello @tamilforkids

By default, the administrator receives an email when a new course is added or updated on the front end. So, whenever you made changes to your course you will receive an email notification. This kind of email can be disabled through the email manager addon in the Pro version of the plugin.

    Kind regards

    Hi
    Thanks for clarifying.

So there is no other way to fix it other than getting the email manager addon, is there?

I can understand 1 notification for making changes or updates. But 10s and 100s sounds really like a glitch.

In fact the second set of screenshots – I didn’t even make change to the course. I merely accessed the pages from the WordPress pages section (because these courses are not ready and so I am not linking them on my website main menu bar.

Please confirm if the addon is the only solution.

    Thanks

    Hello @tamilforkids

If you are courses are staging stage, you can design and manage the content of the lessons in the backend in MS LMS -> Lessons section (Screenshot). As soon as you finish designing courses, you can edit the course and include the lessons in the curriculum (Screenshot) (Screenshot).

In this case, you will receive a single notification, after saving the course.

    Kind regards
