Excess database usage

I couldn’t find any direct contact information for the developers here or on their website, so hopefully they read this forum.
We received a warning message from our web host about this plugin’s incessant database queries (see below). Timely developers: please look into this issue and create a fix for the next version.
I am contacting you because we ran an audit on our server’s database usage due to some recent issues we saw. We were forced to disable this file due to high IO usage and nearly constant MySQL queries:
wp-content/plugins/all-in-one-event-calendar/app/helper/class-ai1ec-calendar-helper.php
Even though the queries were not slow, they were numerous and incessant. We ensured that after disabling this file the load was reduced on the server. Please work with your web developer or your team to devise a plan of action to prevent further usage that is deemed in excess.
