Excerpts x read more tag

    Hello people!
    Is there a way to use excerpt instead of break by read more tag to define what goes to the homepage, but only in an individual post?
    I’m using the break by read more tag and it works beautifully. But now I got two articles (and I suspect that I will get more) with footnotes in the first lines! In the post it looks ok, but in the homepage (all posts page) it looks horrible.
    My idea was to use excerpts with both articles, and so avoid the footnotes in the first page of the site. Does it makes sense? Is it possible?

    Hi @arutha176,

    Yes. That is possible and easy. You just need to open the Customize => Blog => Blog Posts => Excerpt, select “Use excerpt box” under Excerpt Type:

    Hi!
    Thank you for the quick answer.

    But I thought that using the customize option would change all the posts. Won’t it? Because I want to change just two of them and use the read more break on the others.

    Hi @arutha176,

    Yes. It will apply for all posts. It is impossible to just change 1 or 2 posts and use the read more break on the others.
