excerpts on a page with heading text

  • Hi,
    first of all – thanks a ton for this plugin and for making it free – it is great help.
    I was trying to Use this plugin and it works exactly as described but I have a bit of problem as I would like the page look like this:

    some heading text
    [ic_add_posts category=’category’]
    1 defined excerpt-of-a-post1-here
    2 defined excerpt-of-a-post2-here
    3 defined excerpt-of-a-post3-here

    I saw some people requesting something similar but it all seemed too different to my case. I am using another plugin “Easy Custom Auto Excerpt” to do something like this on the main page but it doesn’t seem to play nice with posts on pages generated through your plugin.

    I am kinda lost at this stage so any ideas or advice would be greatly appreciated.

    Howdy @igorzejdlyk,

    I’m not sure I understand what you’re trying to do. Are you trying to:

    1. use the plugin to pull in all posts from a category, followed by specific post excerpts?
    2. Or, are you trying to pull in excerpts of three specific posts in a category?
    3. Or are you just trying to pull in three excerpts from a category without their headers?
