Excerpts not working on mobile

Hi

my issues is as follows: I enabled using excerpts with hueman on my front page, and it is working fine on the desktop. It’s not working on mobile, however, there it always shows the full entry of each post. Interestingly, using customizer on dekstop and then resizing to mobile view, the excerpts work, but on a real device, they don’t (this is true for both iOS and Android).

Do you have any suggestions? Also, I am happy to send the system information with you, just not publicly here on this forum, do you have an e-mail adresse I can send it to?
