Excerpts have disappeared

  • I use members to restrict access to my weekly newsletter. Has worked fine until very recently. Suddenly I get no excerpt of any kind for non-members, just the restriction notice. I have changed nothing in the code, I’m still using the “more” tag as usual.

    I did test a different theme recently and then switched to my old theme. Not sure if that has changed any setting that may be of relevance. No idea what else may be happening here.

    It looks like you’re using a customization that I had posted on the premium support site a long time ago. I looked at the old article and see that there is an older constant used in the code snippet that is deprecated in the plugin. It’s a simple adjustment to update it to the most recent versions of the plugin (and I have updated the article accordingly).
