Excerpts aren’t showing with my podcast feed

  • Hello,

    I am using Seriously Simple Podcasting with two podcasts, the second one can’t generate feed excerpts properly. I deactivated Divi theme and it was the same, so it is not WordPress theme issue.

    Excerpts are created withing the post with podcast chapter.

    Hi @michalkuzniar

    If excerpts are selected within the feed details of the show, the feed will either use the first 55 words of the episode description (the post content) or it will use the excerpt you provide within the Excerpt field for the post settings. Please verify that you’ve set the show to use excerpts instead of post content. You can do this by going to the feed details for the podcast show (series) Mroczne Wieki via Podcast > Settings > Feed Details > Mroczne Wieki (make sure you’re not only updating the default feed but the series feed as well)
