    Sugar Calendar Lite: 6.7.2

I can’t find a way to display the Excerpt section when adding and editing events.

When using the Events Calendar Block, the front end of the site shows the time and title for each event. On my site, when you click on the title, a card pops up showing the featured image, event title, date, time and description.

I want to have control of the description that is displayed. Typically, this is done using the Excerpt section when adding and editing new posts, or, in this case, events.

Is there a way to control the description that is shown on the popup cards when using the Events Calendar Block?

*NOTE: I am currently using the ‘MORE’ tag, but this means that the description must be the first portion of the event listing. It also cuts off after ~180 characters and inserts ‘[…]’. Using the ‘MORE’ tag doesn’t really make sense to me. I would much prefer to have an Excerpt field for the description.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hey @bradley,

Thanks for sharing this with us.

I agree that such an option would be a great addition to the plugin. I shared the feedback with the dev team, and they’re looking into an option that will allow the use of the post excerpt, and we hope to have this included in a future release.

    Thanks once again for sharing.
