Excerpt showing extra characters at front

    Not sure if I just noticed it, but all my excerpts (https://www.lafolia.com/) are now showing an extra +-* (plus minus asterisk) at the very start. These characters don’t appear in the actual excerpt in the post editor.

    Any ideas?

    I’m not seeing this happen in Firefox nor in Chrome. Is it still present for you?

    Thanks for looking at it. I played with various recent plugins and a database back up. I’ve narrowed it down to a combination of the AddThis plugin and the Open Graph plugin. Right now with the AddThis plugin off plus the Open Graph plugin on, the +-* appear at the start of the excerpt. I’m going to live without the AddThis plugin for a bit. I am going to mark this as resolved as I suspect I would need to take this up w/ the Open Graph or AddThis folks.

    Thank you for reporting this, it was driving me crazy!

    I’d say this is coming from the AddThis plugin, as one site I’m working on showed this symptom and I don’t even have the OpenGraph plugin.

    I’m having the same problem and it is caused by Addthis. But I’d like to still use it. Have you figured out how to solve this?
