Excerpt option?

Same here, instead of displaying the excerpt “normally” in the “featured posts” on the frontpage, i have an horrible shortcode orgy like : [su_ column size=”1/3″]text you actually want goes here[/su_ column] because my posts need to start with a gmap and to be organized in columns… I spent 2 days searching a solution (i’m not a great coder…) trying to apply solutions which worked out on different other templates, both on the functions.php and the style.css without success. Is there any way to enter some lines somewhere and simply avoid having any captions or whatever to show up in the excerpt? Thanks in advance for your answer !

FYI: i use a child theme and shortcodes ultimate.

Well, i simply solved the problem by deactivating short code ultimate, and i will search another solution to include shortcodes, with the hope that the captions will not appear anymore from now in the excerpts.

Hi, I’ve the latest version of theme 2.24 installed here for test purposes: https://multiartstudio.it/matmag/
I can’t find how can I manually edit excerpt of the posts.
On this page https://multiartstudio.it/matmag/category/plastoferrite/ that is a list of posts belonging the same category, I want to edit the texts that now are simply the beginnings of the posts.
