excerpt not shown

    Do you have the Excerpt field set for the post? It won’t automatically generate one.

    If that’s what you want there are a few possibilities to do this in the Template Editor: https://bootstrapped.ventures/wp-ultimate-post-grid/template-editor/

    Ok so there is no way to show first words of post in the free version ??

    I’m afraid that’s only available in the Premium version.

    You could just explicitly set the excerpt to those words on the post edit page.
