    Hello everybody,

    hopefully somebody can help me.

I would like to write an manual excerpt for every article as it looks very chaotic at the moment. If I write one, it isn’t displayed as you can see on the screenshots I made.

I am using the theme “evolve”, if that’s helpful.

Here you can find the two screenshots:

    1 (in the article itself)

    2 (on the website)

You misunderstood the seo plugin. The first screenshot shows meta description by yoast plugin and not excerpt.

No, I know that the SEO plugin is just for search engines. The excerpt is written under “Auszug”, which is german for excerpt.

Try using different theme, so you can know if its seo plugin problem or theme problem.

OK, I checked and found out that this is a theme problem. What could be a solution for this problem?

Thanks for your help so far! ??

If you are using premium theme, you need to get help from theme provider.

Unfortunately I haven’t got the premium theme – just the lite version.

In “theme options” there is an option called “Enable post excerpts” with the description “Check this box if you want to display post excerpts on one column blog layout”.

This works perfectly when I use a one column blog layout, but I want to use a grid layout with 3 posts per row…
