Excerpt: […] missing in short posts

  • First of all please excuse for my bad English.

    At this link the author asks for how to display “Read more” link in post shorter than the excerpt lenght:

    I had the same problem and the solution presented worked perfectly for me.

    But I would like to display the […] too! How I can? I cant find the code that manage the affixing of […]

    I know that […] make poor sense in this case because there are no more words in the post but links in the excerpt do not work, so with […] I suggest readers to open the full post…

    Any idea?
