Excerpt in Search Results

    Hello. I like your Easy Testimonials plugin. However, it should default to display the testimonial excerpt in the search results display. I do not see a setting for this. Is this possible?

    Hey @mattcotten –

    The Search Results on your site would show excerpts based on how your search page is coded. Easy Testimonials doesn’t contain any special logic for not showing excerpts on Search Pages. This makes me think that if you aren’t seeing Excerpts for Testimonials in your Search Results then something else is involved.

    I’ve looked at many sites using Search and can verify that in default WordPress environments, and most standard themes, Testimonials correctly display Excerpts with Read More links to the full version from Search Results.

    If you still want to look into this issue let me know. It could be there is another plugin or theme that is causing your Testimonials to not appear Excerpted in your search results.
