Excerpt in post grid (portfolio)

    Hi,

    I would like to request that the get_excerpt used in the post grid / portfolio plugin be filterable by ‘the_excerpt’ filter just like it is usually in WordPress. I prefer to trim the excerpt based on a number of characters (without splitting a word), and the filter would allow me not to be restricted by what the options the plugin offers.

    Question: is there a javascript event the plugin triggers when new posts are displayed? that would be useful if I want to run some code to adjust the post layout.

    Excellent suggestion regarding the excerpt. Have put the same in my todo list.

    You can take a look assets/js/lae-widgets.js under WidgetLAEPortfolioHandler. We do have the option to use imagesLoaded event to customize the layout if that is what you are looking.
