Excerpt gets cut out in my posts

    Hi everyone.

    Im encountering some issues with my website recently, maybe cause Elementor got updated or I don’t really know why. The issue is that my excerpt info is getting cut out, you can see that happening throughout the site but specifically in the places where you have a preview of the post. Does anybody might have an idea as to what this happens? Also maintenance mode is deactivated but the website does not appear public in my devices yet, I hope you don’t have issues taking a look at it due to this reason.

  • The issue is that my excerpt info is getting cut out, you can see that happening throughout the site but specifically in the places where you have a preview of the post.

    If you meant the posts that don’t show any excerpts at all, it’s because those posts are completely blank. Just click through to read any of these posts — you’ll see there’s no post content at all.

    I don’t know why this is happening though, as you’re using a 3rd-party page builder (Elementor). If you’re sure the post content does exist in the dashboard, you may want to post in the Elementor plugin’s support forum to get help from the plugin’s authors and user community.

    This is most likely due to your browsers caching (ie saving) the old homepage. Try clearing your browsing history, or opening the site in a Guest browser window (or incognito mode).

    Hi @gappiah thanks for your reply. And yes some of the posts have no content because they are tests, but the ones that do have content, already have excerpts and they do appear but get cropped out due to some sort of issue with the margins or the padding, I don’t know how to fix that though.

    Try:

    .entry-content {
margin-bottom: 0px;
}

    (That is CSS code that must go into the ADDITIONAL CSS box under APPEARANCE => CUSTOMIZE)
