Excerpt doesn’t show

  • Hi There,
    I’m building on a temporary URL the new website for my customer.
    I’m using Salient as a theme, woocommerce and a bunch of plugins. Also Search&Filter combined with Custom Layouts.

    Most of my templates are working fine, but in 1 I’d like the excerpt to be shown. So I set this in my template, but it doesn’t seem to find any excerpt. Even when I tick the ‘Use post content as backup’ box, no excerpt is shown.

    When I check the page with inspect element, the excerpt is there. There is just no content.

    Does anyone know how this is possible and how I could fix this?
