Excerpt () does not work

    Hallo,

    as far as I could figure out the more tag is not working. Until now Siteorigin could not solve this issue.

    Maybe it an option to create an excerpt-widget to solve the issue temporarily.

    Thanks for posting.

    The excerpt function and the more quicktag are two separate items. If you’re using the Classic Editor for your posts and those posts are using Page Builder with a more quicktag within a SiteOrigin Editor widget, the read more button will be correctly displayed on the blog/archive pages. If you’re wanting to use the more quicktag, the theme setting Blog > Post Content within Vantage should be set to Full Content.

    If the more quicktag isn’t functioning as you’d expect, please, let us know where on your site we should check the problem.
